5 Tips to switch your adiponectin hormone on and finally lose those extra kilos
Fill up with fibre
Researchers found that adding about 35g of fibre per day to the diet hiked adiponectin levels by as much as 115%! Fibre also stabilises glucose levels and prevents your blood sugar
from spiking, which improves insulin sensitivity. Add two teaspoons of chia seeds
to your breakfast each morning for all the fibre you need for the day!
Add fat to your diet!
Ok, not just any fat... Researchers found that monounsaturated fats, such as fish oil, boost levels of adiponectin by up to 60%! Foods that contain monounsaturated fats include, avocados, olives, olive oil and nuts.
