Skipping breakfast may increase your risk of heart disease by as much as 87%!
In the study, published in the
Journal of the American College of Cardiology, researchers looked at data from 6,550 participants, aged between 40 and 75, who took part in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.
They studied their responses on eating habits and correlated it with their health statuses.
Turns out that those who didn't eat breakfast were 87% more likely to die from
heart disease.
And if they already had heart problems, skipping breakfast upped their risk of dying by a staggering 500%!
