Scientists in Taiwan, say as many as 50% of all heart disease related deaths worldwide, come from high blood pressure as a precursor. So for years, researchers worldwide have been desperately trying to find a way to prevent this… And it looks like there may finally be a solution!

There’s one simple way you can control your blood pressure: Exercise
What the Taiwanese researches say is that if you don’t exercise when you have high blood pressure, you might as well look at your blood pressure as being 40 to 50 points higher than the reading on the monitor. 
So think about it this way: Even if you have mild hypertension, say 150mmHg as your top number, that’s actually 190mmHg to 200mmHg if you are sedentary!

It’s important to view exercise as a mean of treatment of high blood pressure. Not just something that provides support to treatment.
Dr Wen, lead author of the study in Taiwan, has this to say: "To date, exercise and high blood pressure have been managed separately, with people mainly being concerned about their blood pressure readings. However, these results suggest that doctors should also discuss the importance of physical exercise as a means to manage [high blood pressure].”
