Angry? You could have a heart attack or stroke within two hours, warns Harvard Health

A recent study conducted by a team of researchers from the Harvard School of Public Health, found that negative emotions can be deadly. And one of the worst is anger.

Not only does anger have the potential to make you lose control and do things you regret, it can cause you to have a heart attack or a stroke. Frighteningly, your risk of a heart attack shoots up five times and stroke risk three times within two hours of an angry outburst.

Lead author of the study says just one outburst of anger doesn't increase your risk, it's the accumulation of regular angry episodes that can be fatal.

As you can see, it's really important to control your negative emotions and prevent heart problems from arising because of them. Here are two tips to keep your anger under control.
