1. Too much exercise

While a sedentary lifestly is a well-known cause of high cholesterol, exercising too much is also bad for you.

High-intensity exercise increases your body's stress response levels which leads to high cholesterol.

2. Too much sleep

While you knew too little sleep causes cholesterol, you probably didn't know that too much sleep is also a problem.

3. Minced turkey

Minced beef generally contains a lot of fat which you know is bad for your cholesterol. But even when minced turkey is labeled 85% lean, it still has 12.5 grams of fat in an 85g portion. Choose lean cuts of meat and eat fish at least twice a week to reduce your meat intake.

4. Medication
