Alzheimer's is an incredible disease. It has the power to reduce life to mere flashes of time. And, as time goes by, those flashes of time, or moments, become more and more heart-breaking if you're caring for a loved one affected by this devastating disease…
There's the moment when your loved one shares the same story he told you an hour ago… The moment you realise he can't live independently or bathe himself any more… And, then of course, there's the crushing moment when he looks back at you from his bed without the faintest flicker of recognition on his face...
All you want to do is put as much space and time between those moments as you can… To stop Alzheimer's in its tracks.
Now that may be possible…
Scientists discover this simple vitamin therapy could slow Alzheimer’s progression by a remarkable 19%!
In a study recently published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, US scientists studied over 600 Alzheimer’s patients. They treated them with daily doses of either vitamin E, memantine (a drug often prescribed for Alzheimer’s disease), a combination of the two, or a placebo.
The memantine drug proved worthless at the end of the two year study. But the vitamin E therapy consisting of 2,000IU per day gave the Alzheimer’s patients months of quality life back. That’s tens of thousands of moments they wouldn’t have had.
The patients who took the vitamin E during the study decreased their annual rate of decline by 19%. This means a delay in symptoms by a full six months!
The vitamin E patients also required about two hours less of care each day… This is a huge relief for caregivers. And, they were 22% less likely to die during the study than the other groups.
Imagine just one more Christmas, anniversary or birthday with your loved one. Imagine those extra precious moments with him. And, all it takes is a simple and inexpensive vitamin available in all health shops.
