BMC Public Health, spanning data from 186 countries, found that a lack of sunlight is assocaited with a higher risk of
colon cancer in people over the age of 45.
Other studies have found that many older people are deficient in vitamin D.
And so, we need to balance things out to make sure we don't miss out on the nutrients which are good for us - like those we get from the sun.
