Low levels of magnesium could be accelerating your hair loss…
When it comes to reasons for hair loss, there are still deficiencies in countless vitamins and minerals that are often ignored or overlooked. One of such frequently disregarded is magnesium.

A basic ingredient to many of your body's biological function, magnesium plays an important role in your overall health and well-being. It can also help you restore stronger strands of hair. Keep reading to learn more about the importance of magnesium to your hair health.

Hair loss in men and women has been attributed to magnesium deficiencies

Nutritionist Rania Batayneg explains that like any other part of your body or component of health, your hair needs a variety of nutrients to grow and be healthy – and magnesium is one of them.  Studies have tied hair loss in both men and women to low levels of magnesium, which is why treatment for hair loss often includes magnesium in the diet.
Although there are many other deficiencies that can cause hair loss, too, magnesium deficiency should be one of the first ones you think about, considering 68% of American adults don’t get enough of the vital mineral, according to research at the Medical University of South Carolina in the United States.
Magnesium deficiency can cause many symptoms that may appear to be related to something else, explains Dr Craig A Maxwell, who practises integrative and family medicine. Among these symptoms are hair loss and soft, brittle nails. Gastrointestinal, muscular, neurological and cardiovascular symptoms may also occur.

Introducing Hair G-Serum!
The High-Intensity Stem Cell Hair Regrowth Formula

Thanks to the technological advancements in stem cell research, scientists have found that hair follicle cells respond well to plant stem cell reparation.

It uses active plant cells from 100% organic, nutrient-rich plants that target the hair cells below the surface of your scalp, which are easily absorbed, allowing for the process of hair follicles to renew and start re-growing, leaving you with fuller and thicker hair in just four to six weeks.

You can up your magnesium intake through certain foods or a supplement

Foods that are rich in magnesium include cooked spinach, dark chocolate, Brazil nuts, halibut, rice bran, pumpkin seeds and black beans. But in most cases, diet alone isn’t enough to get adequate supplies of magnesium. That’s where magnesium supplements come in.
You should also pay attention to an imbalance of excess calcium with magnesium, which could lead to high insulin level that results in hair loss. Eating lots of dark green vegetables, fish and nuts can help to keep your levels in check.
If you discover that you’re deficient in magnesium, your doctor will help inform you about proper dosages and techniques, along with a treatment plan for your deficiency. “You should find you sleep better, have more energy and your mystery symptoms start to disappear,” says Dr Maxwell.
