Do you suffer from irritated or blemished skin? Do you struggle to deep clean your skin without stripping away moisture? Luckily, there are two natural incredible remedies that can help with that: Thyme and raw honey!
Thyme is renowned for its powerful antibacterial properties, which makes it suitable for treating skin conditions of all sorts; from blemishes to acne. Raw honey, on the other hand, soothes and heals inflamed skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema.
In this recipe I've also included tamanu, an absolutely amazing oil that's well-researched and is praised for its ability to repair damaged skin, scar tissue and a number of other skin ailments. French green clay rounds off the mix and helps draw impurities and toxins from your skin.
Try it out!
Repair and rejuvenate your skin with this thyme and raw honey face mask
Makes enough for 1 application
1 tsp dried thyme leaves
1 tsp raw honey
¼ tsp tamanu oil
½ tsp French green clay
Is your thinning hair or receding hairline making you feel old, self-conscious and down-right embarrassed?
Now, there’s a REAL solution that will help you:
Improve hair loss
Encourage hair growth
Repair damaged hair
Even, prevent greying…
What to do:
Use an electric coffee grinder or traditional mortar and pestle to grind up the thyme leaves. Then sift them through a very fine mesh strainer. This should yield a half teaspoon of thyme powder.
In a small bowl, combine the thyme powder and French green clay to form a thick paste. Then stir in the raw honey and tamanu oil. If you have very oily skin, you can swap out the tamanu oil for another teaspoon of raw honey instead. If your skin is extremely dry, you can double up the amount of tamanu oil in this recipe.
Using your fingertips, apply the mask generously to your face and neck. The raw honey makes this mask very sticky so it won’t go on perfectly even and smooth. Leave it on for five to 10 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water and a facecloth. Rinse off any remaining residue with clean running water.
If you can’t find French green clay, you can use kaolin or bentonite clay instead. Cosmetic clays are available at most pharmacies.
Do you now see how simple it is to get a youthful complexion the natural way? Stay beautiful!
