Four home remedies to get rid of pesky pimples – fast!
#1: Honey and cinnamon
Because it’s a natural antibiotic, honey is excellent for getting rid of pimples quickly. When you combine it with cinnamon, it works even better! In a small bowl, mix one tablespoon of raw honey with a half-teaspoon of ground cinnamon and rub the mixture into your clean, dry skin. Make sure you rub the mixture in using circular motions for a good three to five minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.
#2: Lemon juice
Lemon is rich in citric acid, which kills the bacteria that causes pimples and acne in an instant. Simply cut a lemon in half and rub it directly onto your pimples for about five minutes, then rinse off the juice with cool water. The lemon will probably sting your pimples a little, but don’t worry – that only means that it’s working to get rid of them!
#3: Baking soda
This remedy is an oldie but a goodie! In a small bowl, mix equal parts of baking soda and water to form a thick paste, and then apply the paste to each individual pimple using a cotton bud. Wait 10 to 15 minutes for the paste to dry before washing it off with warm water.
Cosmetic clay in powder form won’t only dry out pimples completely, but also stop any impending outbreaks in their tracks! In a small bowl, mix one tablespoon of clay with enough unfiltered apple cider vinegar to form a light paste, and then spread the paste over your pimples. Leave it on for 10 t0 15 minutes or until completely dry, then rinse off gently with warm water.
