Protecting yourself against shingles

As always, prevention is better than cure. To do this, it's important to keep your immune system strong.

Eat a healthy diet, exercise daily, get 7-8 hours' sleep at night and take a quality multivitamin.

In addition, take a powerful vitamin C supplement as well as vitamin B12. If your immune system is already compromised, intravenous vitamin C injections will be much more effective to boost your immune system and treat shingles.

If you haven't had chickenpox, there is a chickenbox vaccination as well as a shingles vaccination - but do speak to a doctor skilled in natural medicine before committing to check that either of these are rigth for you.
