Have you ever been so emotionally exhausted at work that the mere thought of typing up one more report or sending one more email makes you want to scream?
Yes, we've all been there every now and again. But if that “can't go on” feeling becomes more of an everyday thing, that's probably a workout burnout.
Burnout is a chronic state of job stress than can tank your performance and emotional well-being. According to the latest Gallup survey on the topic, full-time American workers are at their posts 47 hours a week, on average, with 18% of them saying they work at least 60 hours a week.

Working out or meditating regularly will help reduce burnout. Whenever you’re feeling frizzed and frazzled, hit the gym. Don’t have a gym membership? Then head on outside for a jog or run around the block. Meditation works wonders, too. You don’t have to join a yoga studio to try it out – all you need is a yoga mat and the internet and you can try it out in the comfort of your own home!
