Why you should take special care of your liver to avoid diabetes...
You may be surprised at the fact that your liver could be causing your high blood sugar. When you think of diabetes, you think of high blood sugar - but your liver plays a major role in this too...

Your liver and diabetes...

One of the roles of the liver is to sponge up the excess sugar (glucose) you eat and drink before it makes its way into your bloodstream. 

But if your liver is fatty, it's not able to absorb enough of it and that's how you end up with high blood sugar

So how do you take special care of your liver to avoid diabetes?

The very first thing you need to remove from your diet are foods and drinks containing high fructose corn syrup. This type of sugar has been implemented in Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). 

It's present in soda coldrinks, sweets, sweetened yoghurt, canned fruit, fruit juice and refined carbs, like white bread and pasta.

Other culprits include:
* Alcohol
* Fried foods
* Salt
* And red meat

And, if you do get diabetes, it further deteriorates your liver, making the NAFLD worse - known as nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).
