The more acidic your body produces, the more likely you are to develop type II diabetes
 
A 14 year long study on 66,000 women determined these shocking results. Researchers wanted to know how the women’s diets influenced their risk of diabetes. But it wasn’t their blood sugar that they were interested in… It was how much acid formed in their body after eating certain foods.
 
You see, the more acid in your body, the harder your lungs and kidneys work to get rid of it. And this, say researchers, causes insulin resistance.
 
The conclusion of the study found that women who ate food that produces acid after digestion are more likely to develop type II diabetes. An alarming 56% more likely!!
 
But there was another more disturbing surprise. Something researchers didn’t expect…
 
They were adjusting factors that may influence the accuracy of the study results. Things like smoking, weight issues, high blood pressure and cholesterol. Limit these foods in your diet as they may cause type II diabetes
 
Animal fat and protein are the worst offenders when it comes to their acid production. Foods that contain white flour and artificial sweeteners are high up on the list too!
 
Bottom line: In trying to avoid type II diabetes, don’t just consider your sugar and simple carb intake. Make sure you eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables and limit your fat and protein consumption too.
