Harvard university study pinpoints mouthwash as one of the culprits in the diabetes epidemic...
Reserachers observed over 1,200 middle-aged,
overweight people over a three year period.
They found that those who used mouthwash twice a day, had a 55% increased risk of developing type 2
diabetes... And those who used mouthwash once a day were 20% more likely to develop diabetes.
Turns out, mouthwashes kill the bacteria in your mouth that actually serve a purpose in the body, including those that produce nitric oxide, which hellps the body regulate the metabolism and the release of insulin, which helps prevent type 2 diabetes.
