Speak to your doctor about the alprostadil injection
The alprostadil injection is an alternate remedy for treating erectile dysfunction. Doctors inject the alprostadil (a type of medicine that causes blood vessels to expand, increasing blood flow to your penis) into your shaft and although this may sound very painful, Blevins says it’s not. He adds that many men tolerate injections well anyway.
But Blevins adds that talking to your doctor is key. He says it’s important you consult your doctor about your erectile dysfunction problem before making your mind up about a solution.
