9 Signs you may be pre-diabetic...
If you're pre-diabetic, your pancreas still produces enough insulin in response to the carbohydrates you eat. But, the insulin is less effective in removing the sugar from the bloodstream. As a result, your blood sugar remains high.

This condition is called insulin resistance.

Pre-diabetes doesn't mean you'll definitely get diabetes, but it's a serious warning that if things don't change, you will.

The biggest problem is that most people don't know which warning signs to look out for until they're actually diagnosed with diabetes.

Don't let this happen to you, read the warning signs below as well as what you can do to turn your health around.

Find out what they are below...

9 Warning signs that you are pre-diabetic

If you experience these signs, you could be pre-diabetic:

1. Overweight or obese
2. You live a sedentary lifestyle
3. Diabetes runs in the family
4. You have high blood pressure or cholesterol levels
5. You've noticed your vision has deteriorated
6. You need to urinate frequently
7. You're thirsty all the time
8. Your skin has darkened around your neck or in your armpits

If you ticked more than three of these signs, the best way to check if you are pre-diabetic is to have a simple blood test. The most accurate is the A1C test. It determines the percentage of glucose (sugar) attached to the oxygen-carrying protein haemoglobin in your blood.

The A1C test is a good indicator of what your blood sugar has been like for the past two or three months. A score of 5.9 and below is considered normal. Anything between 5.7 and 6.4 is considered pre-diabetic, and 6.4 and above is full-blown diabetes.

Your liver could be hiding a dangerous secret that's crushing your blood sugar efforts!

Before modern farming, refrigeration and, well, the convenience of grocery stores, it wasn’t unusual to go days, even weeks without food.

That’s why your body has a safety mechanism.

It was actually designed to prepare for times when food is scarce, by tucking away “emergency” sugar supplies to use for energy.

And this “emergency supply” of sugar is stored in your liver.

Here’s the catch - your liver has no idea that you live a few minutes from the nearest grocery store…

That you have a fridge full of food…

And that chances are pretty slim you’ll ever go days (much less weeks) without food.

So that stored up sugar just sits in your liver, creating fat… jacking up your triglyceride levels… and wreaking havoc on your entire body.

Find out how to safely and naturally stop this process here...

What to do if you are pre-diabetic

If you are pre-diabetic or diabetic, there are things you can do to improve your health...

  • Change your diet: Eat only whole foods (nothing that has been processed in any way). Eat more veggies, a small portion of meat, fish and healthy fats like olive oil and coconut oil.
  • Exercise: Get moving - dance, ride a bike, go for a brisk walk, swim, jump on a trampoline - whatever you love doing. Clock up 150 minutes per week, or 25 minutes per day.
  • Check your meds: Some medications send your blood sugar spiking. Read the product insert and chat to your doctor about alternatives.
  • De-stress: Find ways to beat stress before it beats you. Meditate, laugh, socialise and loosen up a little. Stress affects your sugar levels.
  • Hydrate: Drink lots of water. But stay away from anything with sugar - especially fizzy drinks.

You can change your future by being diligent when it comes to these points.
