Scientific experiment shows that CERTAIN kind of music reduces epileptic brain activity...
The scientists played two sets of music to people who suffer from epilepsy; Mozart's Sonata for Two Pianos K448 and Haydn's No 94 composition...

And one of they both had remarkable effects on the brain activity of these patients... But these effects weren't all good!

Only certain music showed positive effects on the brain...

When the participants in this study listened to the piece by Mozart, they experienced a 32% reduction in epileptiform discharges (EDs) in the brain...

But when they listened to Haydn's piece, it increased this activity by 45% in men only.

The scientists worked out that these physiological changes weren't due to the emotional connections from these pieces - but, instead, the area of the brain that deciphers acoustic signals was responsible for these effects...

Now, acoustic signals are for example the kind animals make - a puppy squeals with delight, or yelps from pain - for example...

Which tells us that music envokes a specific primitive type of response in our brains, depending on its acouostic properties...

Choose what you listen to and listen to your body

It's important to listen to your body to pick up signals from the environment we live in... Pay attention to what makes you feel good and what triggers a negative physiological response in your body.

You'll be surprised how much you can learn from just listening to your body...

And, if Mozart's Sonata for Two Pianos K448 reduced epileptic brain acitivity - what effect could it have on depression, anxiety and other psychological conditions?

We don't know at this stage as studies haven't been done on these, but it would be worth testing this for yourself in a safe environment to see if it helps...
