A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition that looked at 2,500 men in Finland for a period of 22 years found that those who ate one egg a day had a lower risk of Alzheimer’s disease.

The men who ate an egg a day performed better on cognitive tests later in life than those who ate eggs less often.
