You probably know how green tea can cut your risk of cancer and help fight the disease if you do get it. Now, “research shows how it works and hints at just how effective it can be when used right,” says Dr Mark Stengler in Health Revelations.
The key is epigallocatechingallate (EGCG), the most powerful of all the antioxidants in green tea. These antioxidants are so powerful, they can help wipe out cancer tumours.
Here’s how…
Green tea could wipe out tumours...
According to Dr Stengler, researchers at the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences found that if you ingest EGCG by targeting it directly into the tumour site, it kills the cancer cells.
In a series of lab experiments, “researchers created a targeted delivery system to bring the EGCG direct to the skin cancer tumours. And it practically wiped them out,” says Dr Stengler.
Over a month of treatment, some tumours vanished completely. Overall, the EGCG made 40% of the tumours disappear.
While researchers hope to hone their targeted delivery system and get even better results, this is sufficient proof why green tea is considered as one of the healthiest drinks in the world.
Having a cup of green tea could help you wipe out dangerous cancer tumours.
