And it’s why scientists have spent years trying to find a way to treat prostate cancer more effectively.
Now, the use of the Newcastle virus as a treatment is being prepped for Phase 1 testing on people, reports Health24.
How does it work?
Well, “a treatment for prostate cancer based on this virus would avoid the adverse side effects typically associated with hormonal treatment for prostate cancer, as well as those associated with cancer chemotherapies generally,” corresponding author Subbiah Elankumaran of Virginia Polytechnic Institute told the site.

Both bee products should be available at all good health stores.
