A simple seed may reduce breast cancer risk by 28%

by , 01 October 2013

If you know of someone who is fighting the battle against breast cancer - or if you are yourself, this article brings good news.

A simple seed, which you can get your hands on today and won't cost you much, may shrink tumours and stop them from spreading.

Researchers from Germany may have discovered a breakthrough that could help turn the tide on breast cancer.

Flaxseed shrinks breast tumours

In a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled test, flaxseeds where given to patients with breast cancer. The result - flaxseeds appear to have the potential to reduce the growth of tumours in a few weeks.

The researchers believe this is because a class of phytonutrients known as lignans, which are present in flaxseeds, which has up to 800 times more lignans than other plant foods

Lignans are a class of polyphenols which have powerful antioxidant and anti-oestrogenic effects and for this reason they’re a possible preventive measure for breast cancer.

After just one month of a daily diet of flaxseed, breast cancer patients saw their cancers spreading more slowly and their tumours shrink.

Flaxseed could alter the way we treat breast cancer and may help women find relief from radiation and surgery.

The best part is that you can find flaxseed in just about any health shop and add it to your daily diet.

Could you beat breast cancer with a simple seed? Researchers believe it is. Discuss including flaxseed in your cancer treatment with your doctor.

“By the end of summer, his doctor could find no trace of cancer”...

David had an 8cm tumour wrapped around his backbone – entering his spinal column – when he entered the hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia. This former athlete was paralysed. Surgery was scheduled, but the cancer officially declared “incurable”.

Just four days later, David walked out of the hospital, using only a cane. A year later, he was swimming and riding his mountain bike again. By the end of the summer, his doctor could find no trace of cancer in his body.

What on earth helped David finally beat it? Was it a toxic new chemotherapy?  No. Believe it or not, he owes a good part of his recovery to a revolutionary therapy you’ll read about starting on page 72 of How to Fight Cancer & Win...
