Study proves antioxidants are effective in reducing joint pain and helping joints heal...
In a recent study, researchers looked at the effects of the compound N-acetyl cysteine (or NAC for short) on
joint pain.
NAC is a precursor to glutathione – a powerful antioxidant the body makes. So supplementing with NAC can help your body make more glutathione - and increase its antioxidant protection.
In the study, the mice that were fed NAC in their water had less joint damage. The NAC reduced the damage to the cartilage and joint tissue caused by
arthritis.
