Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder in which you stop breathing for at least 10 seconds during each hour you sleep.

It occurs when your throat muscles relax and the soft tissue at the back of the throat collapses and closes, blocking in the airway.

As with snoring, you won't know if you're experiencing sleep apnea. You'll wake up but won't know the difficulty you experienced while trying to breathe. Here's how to tell if you suffer from this dangerous sleep disorder…
