Northumbria University study finds that rosemary essential oil can help improve your memory
Researchers from Northumbria University in the UK revealed the memory-enhancing benefits of rosemary essential oil in a recent study.
To reach their findings, they looked at 40 children between ages 10 and 11. They found that children working in a room with the scent of rosemary scored 5% to 7% better on memory tests. Researchers concluded that the results hold true for adults as well.

So how exactly does rosemary essential oil work in your brain?
According to Dr Mariza Snyder, author of The Matcha Miracle, the terpene levels in the oil enter your bloodstream and directly affect your body – easily crossing your blood-brain barrier.
